On Thursday, September 19, the Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA) celebrated its new Mixed-Use Housing Facility with a ribbon cutting ceremony during the 2024 IAIA Open House. A Santa Fe institution since 1962, IAIA is dedicated to the study of Native American and Alaska Native arts, and the new facility is just one way they are continuing to support the creative and educational growth of the IAIA community. This exciting new addition to the IAIA campus provides much-needed housing space for students and their families, common areas, and two integrated studios for meaningful art-making.
