WHAT IS THE AMBASSADOR PROGRAM?

The Ambassador Program is a volunteer initiative that provides Chamber members with a unique opportunity to represent the Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce at public events, engage with new and prospective members, and help foster a thriving business community.

Ambassadors serve as a bridge between the Chamber and its members, offering a friendly face, helpful insights, and encouragement to help others get involved.

WHY BECOME AN AMBASSADOR?

​As a Chamber Ambassador, you’ll:

• Build strong professional relationships
• Increase visibility for your business
• Gain leadership experience and public speaking opportunities
• Contribute meaningfully to the Santa Fe business community

WHO CAN JOIN​

• Must be a current Chamber member in good standing
• Interested in networking, community building, and supporting fellow businesses
• Willing to commit time monthly to representing the Chamber
• Selected applicants will participate in a short orientation before becoming active

AMBASSADOR RESPONSIBILITIES​

• Ambassador orientation
• Attend and assist at Chamber events such as ribbon cuttings and annual events
• Welcome and support new members, helping them integrate into the Chamber
• Support Chamber staff with outreach and check-in duties at special events
• Maintain active status by attending at least one Chamber event per month

PROGRAM COMMITMENT​

• Minimum 1 Chamber event per month
• Quarterly Ambassador meetings
• Volunteer support at select annual events (e.g. Legislative Breakfast, Business Achievement Awards, Women’s Leadership Luncheon)

PROGRAM CAPACITY & ACCOUNTABILITY​

• To ensure an impactful and engaged team, participation is limited to 30 active Ambassadors
• After three consecutive months of inactivity, Ambassadors will be placed on inactive status
• Ambassadors are expected to represent the Chamber in a positive, welcoming, and professional manner
